Hi, we are ivory lane media.
Ivory Lane Media started on a random night in 2017… honestly a little out of nowhere and a lot out of 'I’m done waiting' energy 😂
At the time, we were both working jobs we didn’t love, and Alex was going to school full time. Mckenna was a makeup artist and completely fell in love with the wedding industry, but she always had this pull toward photography. Alex, on the other hand, had always loved video. He grew up filming for his high school sports teams and was naturally so good at capturing moments.
One day Mckenna finally hit her limit and said, “That’s it. We’re starting a business.”
Alex laughed and was like, “Okay sure…” (fully expecting her to forget about it the next day).
She did not forget.
That same night, she made an Instagram, built a website, and just like that, Ivory Lane Media was born. No overthinking, no perfect plan… just a decision and a lot of figuring it out along the way.
And the name? People always ask. Truthfully… it was just the first thing Mckenna thought of. We didn’t want to waste time chasing the perfect name when we could be building our dream life instead.
Turns out, that was one of the best decisions we ever made.
Meet the Photographer
hey, my name is mckenna
Wedding photographer, romance/fantasy book lover, occasional baker, and full-time mom to my two boys. If I’m not editing or shooting, I’m probably reading a love story, making cookies, or pretending I have my life together while my kids run wild.
I’m obsessed with photographing real emotion, like the kind that makes you cry during your own vows or laugh mid-ceremony because you’re just so happy. Ceremonies and private vows are my absolute favorite because they’re where everything feels the most real and unfiltered.
Basically… if it’s emotional, I’m already obsessed with it.
Meet the Videographer
Hey, my name is alex
Videographer, professional problem solver, and the guy who never says no to an adventure. I love playing with my kids, thinking on my feet, and coming up with new ideas.
My favorite moments to capture are the ones with energy. The packed dance floors, cake smashes, temple exits, all the moments where everyone’s hyped and fully celebrating.
Basically… if it feels like a party, I’m in my element.
